1. RULES FOR THANKS POST !!!
Due to to many thanks post in the forum we have to do something to stop this.
All new registered users with 10 direct "Thanks" post will get an warning from the moderation team and all of your post will be removed.
Remember there is always an first warning and If members can`t follow this rules they will be permanently banned.
Cooperate with us and make this forum clean for such post and easier for everyone to browse through the forum
2. ANY POST OF IMEI NO IN ANY THREAD LEADS TO BANNED..
We have noticed prevalence of openly giving out IMEI numbers by members for one reason or another. While other concerned members reminded people that disclosing their IMEI numbers could pose some issues to the bearer, still, many members continously do it.
In this regard, it is to the interest of our members and Symbian Space that we put THIS ARTICLE so you will be informed.
You have been warned and Symbian Space takes no responsibility whatsoever for anything that will arise as a consequence of this consistent practice.
3.Make appropriate use of reputation and thanks or ban yourself.

The 'reputation' button ..
This is the only method to be used to show gratitude to the poster of any post or topic(s) on the forum.
Under no circumstances are members to post merely thanks as a post anymore or topic authors to request it , there is now no excuse for this !
Flooding of the board with posts containing just 'thanks' 'thankz' and 'thank you' posts is now a 0% tolerance situation and members will be BANNED for failing to comply to this .
Members using automated response messages warning of a ban by posting thanks will now be deemed rule violators and be BANNED
If you want to say just thanks use the reputation button :-). use the new feature as its here for your benefit to make a cleaner forum
4.Rules regarding double post !!
If any member or moderator encounters what they believe to be an already posted file (double post of app,tone,game,file etc) then they must follow this procedure to report it. Before posting you must find original file to confirm it is double (not earlier version etc) . If sure after this that a double post has occured then you must post a direct link to the original file on the topic in question. If unable to confirm any of the above you are required NOT to post unconfirmed information stating this... This rule is to helpprevent double posts and also to eliminate the many 'old post', 'double post' statements that members make...only by providing evidence of a double post can you help maintain/keep the forum clean of this problem. This rule is effective immediately
use the search button to check out if the post is been posted by other person..
5. Never abuse any member or use annoyning words.
I have seen many post in this forum where members abuse and use hash and bad words against other members.This is strictly not allowed any such post seen will be soon edited with an never expiring infraction and repeating such posts will lead you to permenant ban,please co operate and follow the rules.
6.No posting adds anywhere in the forum..
Any member should not post any add regarding their own site or their own personal products or adds of phone selling or other product selling any where in this forum except sales and business section..
Any user not following this rule will be soon punished with infraction or banning by or respected staff..
so be aware and follow rules..
Any violence to these rules will lead you to a permenant ban this rules are implied to clean the forum and make it good.
